What is "Helping Hands"?

The Regal Manor Helping Hands initiative is an effort to encourage community involvement from our members. It will include incentives and lots of other fun stuff! You don't have to join a committee to contribute! If you have a special talent or skill or simply want to "give back" to your community, we'd love to hear from you! Volunteers are needed in any capacity and involvement. It requires a lot of time, effort and dedication from your volunteers to handle the grounds, pools, playgrounds, social events, and copious day-to-day operations. We can not do it alone and need your help! Did you know that all of our volunteers combined represent less than 3% of the homes in the Association?! Please consider how you can become involved. It could be serving ice cream for an hour, or meeting with a vendor, or drafting an email to our government officials. If you’re willing and able, we’d covet your time and support.

If you are interested in participating in a larger capacity or would like to oversee an intiative, then please consider one of our committees. If you have questions or comments, please contact us by clicking on the respective committee title or member listed below. We are always looking for help and ideas. All committees must attend occassional meetings hosted by the Board of Directors and Kuester. These meetings facilitate feedback and communicate community goals of the Board.

Enforcement is the responsibility of the management company at the direction of the Board of Directors. For more information about ARC requests, please reference our FAQ section listed at the top of the page. ALL outdoor improvements require an ARC submission. There is no member fee to submit an ARC request.

Pool Committee

The Pool Committee is responsible for operations at the pool and cabana areas. This includes interaction with the pool vendors, gathering community feedback, and planning enhancements for an enjoyable and relaxing experience.

Grounds Committee

The Grounds Committee is responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of the Association's common and natural areas. This committee is very important as their efforts visually represent our community. Duties include interaction with vendors, seasonal planting activities, amenity recommendations and preventative maintenance. This committee also performs regular checks of streelights and reports malfunctions to the respective energy company.

Communications Committee

The Communications Committee is responsible for internal and external communications for the Association. Internal communications include newsletters, seasonal flyers, and website updates. This committee also represents the Association's interests in communications involving local, state, federal officials, and other external entities.

Security & Preparedness Committee

The best way to ensure a safe community is to have an observant and vigilant community. This committee will meet with security and law enforcement to learn methods, strategies, and procedures to maintain a safe community. Walking patrols, communication networks (neighborhood captains, call lists, etc.), and safety education will be directives of this committee. We also believe that as neighbors, we are best equipped to help each other in the event of an emergency. The clubhouse could be used as a triage or centralized gathering place. We would like to expand on this including creating a contact list of residents that are medical, military, or emergency professionals.

Rules & Regulations Committee

This committee is tasked with reviewing the governing documents and will recommend amendments and/or clarifications as necessary. It will work closely with the Board of Directors to revise the governing documents accordingly. Very much like the ARC Committee, this committee will not be responsible for enforcement, but may aid the management company in their duties.

Sidewalk Committee

The Sidewalk Committee is a committee who's goals are to install sidewalks along the high-traffic areas of the community. This committee is putting together a project portfolio and is soliciting local, state, federal and private programs for funding. The intent is to provide a safe pathway for pedestrians and motorists alike. These pathways will interconnect our developments and provide safe access to Nation Ford High School and Sugar Creek Elementary as well as the amenities and Nation Ford Trail.

Regal Manor welcomes CAMS as the Association's new management company.
